John Sever is the President of Cascade Solutions. He co-founded the company in 1994 as an engineering and services resource for the process industries.
As the primary software architect at Cascade, Mr. Sever sets the course of software development, ensuring integration of IT with the plant floor, and leveraging leading edge technologies for global manufacturing.
John has 20 years of experience in the design and implementation of large, integrated industrial automation and information systems. His background prior to Cascade includes positions as a systems engineer for Johnson Yokogawa Corp., systems engineer for Rosemount Controls, lead process engineer for General Electric Silicones Division, and process engineer for FMC Corporation.
John has a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology, Terre Haute, Indiana.
Dan Katzinski
Co-Founder and Vice President
Dan Katzinski is Vice President of Cascade Solutions and serves as the primary technical consultant for automation and electrical services. He co-founded the company in 1994 with President John Sever, and has 17 years of electrical, instrumentation and process control engineering experience.
Prior to founding Cascade, Mr. Katzinski worked as a project electrical engineer for FMC Corporation's Phosphorous Chemicals Division, as a systems engineer for the Control Systems Division of Rosemount, Inc., and as an electrical and instrumentation engineer for General Electric Plastics.
Dan earned his B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Louisville, Kentucky.
Jeff Boesiger
Vice President Business Development
Jeff Boesiger joined Cascade Solutions in 2001 and currently heads business development and serves as Regional Manager for the San Francisco Bay area, overseeing a process engineering initiative and serving as the lead process expert for the company.
Mr. Boesiger has twelve years of process engineering experience in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industry, with an extensive background in cGMP equipment and facility design, biotechnology manufacturing and process automation.
Prior to joining Cascade, Jeff worked for Inhale Therapeutic Systems (now Nektar) as engineering manager, and for Amgen as a process engineer and a manufacturing supervisor.
Jeff holds a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, and is a member of AICHE and ISPE.
John Seffernick
Regional Manager
John Seffernick joined Cascade Solutions in 2000 and currently serves as the Regional Manager for New England, overseeing services Cascade offers for clients in the region.
Mr. Seffernick has eleven years of power distribution and control systems design and implementation experience. His design engineering background includes plant power distribution design, plant control system design, batch design, PLC/DCS programming, equipment specifications, instrument specifications and procurement.
Prior to joining Cascade, John worked as an electrical engineer for IT Corporation (formerly OHM Remediation Services Corp.) and for Westinghouse Electrical Corp., Environmental Division as an electrical engineer.
John received his B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Kettering University, Flint, Michigan.
